How to Calculate the Number of Strips Based on the Linear Feet of Glass

We calculate the recommended amount of 4' marker strips by dividing your Linear Feet (LF) of glass into 3' panes, leaving some extra for overlapping and possible mishaps.

Estimating the average panes of glass at 36" and figuring one strip per pane makes installation much easier than piecing together small sections of strips.

If most of your panes of glass are over 48" it's recommended to add extra strips to the amount ordered.   Please fill out our RFQ Form if you have questions about the correct amount of marker strips to order.
